Piracy Threat Analysis Report: March 08-March 14, 2013
There were two incidents reported worldwide this week and no incidents reported in the Indian Ocean and off the Horn of Africa. Threat level in the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden remains moderate, but weather conditions this week remain calm with sea states conducive to pirate activity. With the winter monsoon season over, sea states will be much easier to navigate through.
