Opinion - The Real Threat of Artificial Intelligence
BEIJING — What worries you about the coming world of artificial intelligence?. Too often the answer to this question resembles the plot of a sci-fi thriller. People worry that developments in A.I. will bring about the “singularity” — that point in history when A.I. surpasses human intelligence, leading to an unimaginable revolution in human affairs. Or they wonder whether instead of our controlling artificial intelligence, it will control us, turning us, in effect, into cyborgs.

Opinión - La verdadera amenaza de la inteligencia artificial
PEKÍN — ¿Qué te preocupa sobre el nuevo mundo de la inteligencia artificial?.Es muy frecuente que la respuesta a esta pregunta se parezca a la trama de un thriller de ciencia ficción. La gente se preocupa de que el desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial produzca la “singularidad”: ese punto en la historia en que la inteligencia artificial rebasará a la humana, lo cual provocará una revolución inimaginable en la vida del hombre. Las personas también se preguntan si, en vez de que nosotros controlemos la inteligencia artificial, esta nos controlará a nosotros y nos convertirá, en efecto, en cíborgs.
