The U.S. Department of Justice has accessed the metadata of reporters to find out their sources. After that, it has trolled metadata about the sources to see if it can come up with enough evidence to justify investigating them.

How Unmasking Afghan CIA Sources Hurts Us
If there ever were a story that's not worth the paper it's written on it's the "news" from the New York Times that the CIA is paying corrupt Afghan officials for information. Paying off corrupt officials — if we accept espionage as a kind of corruption — is exactly what the CIA was meant to do when it was set up in 1947. So where's the news?

George Tenet's Real Failure
It seems George Tenet's memoir At the Center of the Storm: My Years at the CIA has a little something for everyone. I have not actually read the book yet, but from everything I have heard it provides Democrats damning evidence that Bush and the neocons lied about Iraq — they were going to invade with or without the intelligence to back them up.
