Preliminary investigations indicated that at least some Pakistani nationals were among the attackers, based on information gathered from captured attackers, sources told the Times of India. Neither the Indian government nor the Pakistani government has issued an official statement on the attacks, though the Pakistani foreign minister expressed “shock and horror,” according to the Times of India.

At the Taj Hotel, all hostages have been released. National Security Guards were reportedly moving from floor to floor in the hotel. Five militants were killed and one was arrested at the hotel, the Times of India reported.

Operations reportedly are in the last stages at the Oberoi Tower. IBN reported loud sounds coming from the hotel, where at least 25 hostages are being held.

At Nariman (Chabad) House, three hostages reportedly managed to escape, including the wife and child of the head of the Chabad organization, IBN reported. Five or six terrorists were said to be holed up in the Jewish prayer hall and residence with the head of the Chabad organization. The first three stories of Nariman House are occupied by Israeli nationals.
