Luanda — The director of the America Division of the Angolan Foreign Ministry (Mirex), Isabel Resende, said Thursday in Luanda the relations between Angola and Argentina have improved satisfactorily.
Speaking to Angop about the visit the Argentinean president, Cristina Kirchner, is paying to Angola as from Thursday, the official recalled that the trade relations between the two countries started in 1985.
She explained that in 1988, a technical cooperation accord was signed in 1988 that led to other agreements in other sectors.
The official informed of the existence of 13 accords between the two countries in the domains of agriculture, farming, social communication (Angop), science and technology, economy and trade, higher education and training of personnel.
Isabel Resende also spoke of accords in the field of exchange of the best practices at he level of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and visa suppression on diplomatic and service passports.
The visa accord was signed recently during the visit of Argentinean Foreign minister, Hector Timerman, to Angola.
She said as well there are also memorandums of understanding in the domains of health and foreign affairs between the two countries.
According to the official, the list of accords signed is lengthy and spoke for a boost in their implementation.
