Argentina and Brazil will sign off today on a basic development contract for the construction of a multi-purpose Brazilian reactor for an amount in excess of 60 million pesos.
The Argentine high technology company INVAP is the lead company contracted to construct the reactor, reported the press release provided by the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA).
The possibility of the project had first been discussed by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in February, 2008.
