A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at formulating master plans of development studies of four Peruvian ports has been signed by the Peruvian Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and the Republic of Korea.
Peruvian National Port Authority will work jointly with the Korean Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs (MLTM). in order to update the master plans of the ports of Iquitos (Loreto), Ilo (Moquegua), Salaverry (La Libertad) and San Juan de Marcona (Ica).
The agreement was signed by Peruvian Deputy Transport Minister Alexander Chang, and the Director of Cooperation of Korea, Kim Chang-kyun.
It is also established that Peruvian professionals can be trained in the Republic of Korea, thus benefiting of the broad experience of the port industry in the East Asian country.
